Power Dethrones The Champ
With no official roster spot on the NL team, the Marlins Giancarlo Stanton extremely made the most of it.
The power slugger totally crushed the competition with a total of 61 home runs. He set power readings at a historic rate. On his way to the finals, he totally obliterated Robinson Cano,and,outpowered the #1 seed Mark Trumbo in close fashion in the semis. Then he met the defending champ,Todd Frazier.
Frazier went through CarGo in a close one in the first round, and, newcomer Adam Duvall on his path back to the finals. In the finals, Frazier was no match for the power of Stanton as he was outslugged 20-13. Stanton moonshot 11 bombs of 440 plus feet. The defending champ felt like a high school hitter as he was towered by power.
On a hometown note, the Padres Will Myers hut 10 home runs in the first round; he got outslugged by Adam Duvall by one homer
