ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT

Since its inception in 1965, the first-year draft has produced countless players that have made it to the show. There were notable successes, and, notable busts. There have been gems and surprises that were buried deep in draft boards that were not known unless a big, hardcore baseball fan.
