HOME RUN DERBY

The Judge Rises Up

The monstrous rookie season of Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge spilled on over to the annual home run derby as he showed a display of power of 500 foot ones and a roofer one. In the end, Judge took home the prestigious title away from Twins slugger Miguel Sano in breath taking fashion 11-10. It was a phenomenal debut for the heavy AL ROY favorite.

THE PATH TO VICTORY

ROUND 1: Defeated Marlins Justin Bour: 23-22

ROUND 2: Defeated Dodgers Cody Bellinger 13-12

FINALS: Defeated Twins Miguel Sano 11-10

The Defending Champ Is Stunned In The First Round

The hometown was looking forward to a repeat of their slugger, Giancarlo Stanton in the contest.........only to be dethroned by another Yankees up-and-comer, Gary Sanchez 17-16 in the first round. This had to be a letdown for the local fans as they wanted to see a Stanton vs. Judge finish.
