After six consecutive #1 finishes by the Baltimore Orioles as the top farm system, the Tampa Bay Rays break the streak with four prospects ranked in their Top 50. The opportunity to replenish the farm at the trade deadline put them over the top. The Rays created the deepest farm out of all the organizations. They hope this will lead to the next wave of youngsters towards the opening of their new ballpark in a few years.
