Schwarber leads the way in rout of The World Team

Named
Futures
MVP
This time last year, Kyle Schwarber was beginning his road to the show by starting out up in the Northwest League. In a short period of time,he has moved up the system where he would display the kind of power more suitable for the next level. When he got the taste of the big leagues, he showed what fans can expect in the future on a daily basis.
In this year's edition of the Futures Game. Schwarber showed the kind of force the Cubs will look forward to when he lead the US Team to a 10-1 rout of the World Team. Schwarber went 1 for 3 and drove in two runs, including a two-run triple that helped break the game wide open.
FROM MLB,COM
"It was awesome to come out and actually step on the field I grew up watching ballgames on. It was special. My eyes lit up as soon as I stepped on it,"
Schwarber lives north of the Cincinnati area in the town of Middleton. It was an awesome sight to actually step on the field and show what he can do in a showcase like this.
