2022 RECAP
A Landscape of Change
The 2022 season will be remembered of unexpected names changing hands that was deemed not possible. The likes of Freddie Freeman, Corey Seager, Carlos Correa and Max Scherzer wore a different jersey to begin the season. As the trade deadline arrived, one of the biggest names was shockingly traded as Juan Soto was sent to a contender......... after speculation he was going to stick around as a National. The Soto deal was part of a shopping spree from the San Diego Padres, who beat the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLDS. At the end of the day, it was the Houston Astros (who added key pieces for their postseason run) that brought home the World Series title.
It was a landscape of change throughout the game. Change that is bound to affect the future of certain divisional races. Expect next season to be exciting as well with more changes.
